As a key equipment of the modernization project of the SBQ rolling mill in Fushun City, Liaoning province, which is designed for an annual capacity of 600,000 metric tons, the 3-roll RSB® 370++/4 produces straight bars with diameters from Ø 14.0 to 92.0 mm for demanding downstream applications, ensuring the highest dimensional accuracy, superior surface quality, and maximum reliability.
Following the successful first bar, the KOCKS RSB® will unlock new potential for product quality, production flexibility, and operational consistency – key factors for meeting the requirements of Fushun’s demanding customer industries.
The scope of supply also included remote control for automatic stand and guide adjustment, as well as the BAMICON Octopus software and hardware to support all setup processes in the roll shop. With the RSB® 370++/4 now fully operational, Fushun is set to further strengthen its capabilities in the SBQ segment and reinforce its position as a leading supplier of high-quality long products.
