Fujian Sangang Minguang Group Co., Ltd. grants FAC to KOCKS for new 3-roll RSB®
Fujian Sangang Minguang Group Co., Ltd. (Sanming) has issued the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) for its new KOCKS RSB® 370++/4 in 5.0 design. Just four weeks after the first bar rolled from the new block, the Chinese producer of SBQ products and Friedrich KOCKS GmbH & Co KG signed the official documents.
Due to the pandemic and current world situation, the project was demanding, but ultimately successful. The modernized SBQ mill of the steel producer in the Fujian province on the southeastern coast of China has now gone into regular operation. The trust in KOCKS as a supplier was confirmed by an excellent project, which was delivered in time and successfully executed no matter the pandemic challenges.
The new KOCKS Reducing & Sizing Block works highly reliable with best tolerances and achieves great overall results of the rolled products. The RSB® 370++/4 is located as finishing unit after 21 stands in H/V rolling mill arrangement. Sanming produces bar in coil within a dimension of Ø 16 to 48 mm and straight bars within a dimension of Ø 20 to 90 mm in an 800.000t/a mill line.
