After the successful installation and operation of two KOCKS RSB® in 2008 and 2020, Jiyuan I&S decided to order the third 3-roll Block from KOCKS which is a RSB® 500++/4 for the production of medium and large size SBQ products.
The biggest KOCKS RSB® is part of the new Big Bar revamping project of Jiyuan I&S in the Province Henan and will finish most flexible all straight bar sizes of Ø 50.0 to 160.0 mm onto the cooling bed. The new RSB® is also suitable for the thermomechanical rolling process.
Beside the RSB®, also the roll shop for preparation of the 3-roll stands and 3-roller guides, the advanced bar mill configurator BAMICON Octopus, as well as supervision services are included in the scope of supply.
The commissioning of the RSB® is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022.
