Weifang Special Steel Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. grants the FAC to KOCKS for its RSB® 5.0
The Chinese Special steel manufacturer Weifang Special Steel Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. issued to Friedrich KOCKS GmbH & Co KG, the FAC (Final Acceptance Certificate) for the successful commissioning of the 3-roll Reducing & Sizing block (RSB®) in 5.0 design.
Weifang Special Steel Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. located in Weifang, Shandong Province, mainly produces quality wire and welding rods, as well as quality bar steel for the automotive industry.
The RSB® 5.0 produces SBQ within a dimensional range from Ø 18.0 – 60.0 mm at rolling speeds up to 18 m/s. In addition to the RSB®, a water cooling section including an integrated process software for temperature controlled rolling was supplied.
The KOCKS 3-roll technology allows Weifang to achieve a reliable and consistent SBQ production of premium quality with perfect surface and closest tolerances to meet the high demands of the market.
The second RSB® in 5.0 design for Weifang Special Steel is ready to be shipped and will be commissioned within 2021.
