Steeltec integrates the 4D EAGLE S LASER system

Steeltec AG, a renowned Swiss producer of high-quality steel, has successfully commissioned the state-of-the-art 4D EAGLE S measuring system developed by KOCKS and LAP at its rolling mill in Emmenbrücke. The advanced system, installed behind the existing KOCKS Reducing & Sizing Block (RSB®) is fully operational, ensuring precision in both profile measurement and surface inspection for rounds with diameters ranging from 16.0 mm to 66.0 mm and hexagonal dimensions ranging from 17.7 mm to 62 mm.

Jiyuan orders RSB® 500++/4 for new big bar mill line

The Chinese special steel producer Jiyuan Iron & Steel has placed an order with KOCKS for a Reducing & Sizing Block RSB® 500++/4. The equipment will be installed in a new big bar mill line. With this already being the fourth RSB® for Jiyuan, the project underlines the close and trusted relationship between the two companies. At the same time, it marks the 50th RSB® to be integrated in China, illustrating the strategic relevance of KOCKS’ 3-roll technology in SBQ mills.
