First bar rolled and FAC signed for RSB® 370++/4 at Vardhman Special Steels

Vardhman Special Steels Ltd., one of India’s leading producers of Special Bar Quality (SBQ) steel, has successfully rolled the first bar on its new Reducing & Sizing Block RSB® 370++/4 in the iF-awarded 5.0 design from KOCKS and signed the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) shortly afterwards. The start-up marks a key milestone in Vardhman’s ongoing modernization efforts to meet the high demands of India’s automotive and engineering industries.

KOCKS and LAP expand 4D EAGLE S portfolio

A year after the successful market launch of the joint measuring systems known as 4D EAGLE S, LAP and KOCKS are expanding their product portfolio for the steel industry. The new 4D EAGLE S 50 model adds a high-precision laser measuring system for long products with small diameters to the series. This new product was officially launched for global sales at AISTech 2025, held from May 5 to 8 in Nashville, USA.
